GRID 2 launched in the UK on 31st May 2013, on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
I worked as a Game Designer on this project. My responsibilities are outlined below…
One of the key areas of GRID 2 was its integration of “RaceNet“, Codemasters’ web-service which interfaces with supported products, providing statistics and social gameplay features to subscribed players. Facilitating the integration of RaceNet was one of my responsibilities for GRID 2.
I also worked on implementing almost every vehicle livery seen in the game, helping to establish the identity of each rival team that the player competes against. This required tracking and producing a large volume of licensed content for the game. Some of these teams are showcased in the following videos:
Additional responsibilities included producing documentation to support the submission process of this title, writing the content of the instruction manual, and assisting with quality assurance.
